Blessings and welcome to the sound of Crystal Intentions. We are a family group that uses the healing sounds of the crystal and Tibetan bowls. My name is David and my wife's is Bernice. We live in Florida and have been married for 10 years. Since the bowls have found us in 2008, we have grown in life and soul. We love to share our sound with the whole universe and hope that you can join us.
Bernice....The first time I saw and felt the energy of these bowls was at a full moon labyrinth walk in Punta Gorda. My now friend Janice was playing them and I was immediately drawn to the beauty of the vibrations. That week I purchased our first crystal bowl a crown B note. I meditated with it everyday. Soon we had more and more... now we have over 2 full sets ranging from a 22" all the way down to 6".
The love we have for each other and for the bowls really comes through very intensely when we play together. The harmonics of the amount of bowls we are able to play together is like nothing you have felt before. We send out the energy of love and light by doing Reiki on our bowls before a performance.
We play the bowls spiritually.... Spirit has guided us here and guides our hearts to know which bowl to sound and when. Every experience is new.......
What are crystal bowls?
Crystal bowls are made from 99.992% pure crushed quartz and heated to about 4000 degrees in a centrifugal mold.
They are available in clear or frosted bowls in a variety of sizes, ranging from 6 to 24 inches in diameter. The bowls emit a powerful, pure resonance. The larger bowls are much more reverberant, with the tone lingering longer, simply because of the size and amount of crystal. The clear bowls, somewhat more expensive, are more readily available in smaller sizes.
The size of the bowl does not necessarily determine its note, although the larger bowls sound lower octaves and notes. Each bowl is tested with digital technology to identify its sound. One will have a sense of which tone "feels" most congruent with individual needs or desires. The notes, C, D, E, F, G, A, B correspond with one’s energy centers or chakras.
Some bowls harmonize with other bowls, and when both are played simultaneously, the effect is exquisite and synergistic.
What is intention?
As thoughtforms are energy, the intention with which one approaches healing work is of utmost importance. Intention is a clearly formed thought, a prayer of sorts, and is the real healer. Of course, group intention is even more powerful.
